I was raised in North Georgia on the banks of the Chattahoochee River – a hidden respite from the nearby hustle of city life. As I got older, I found myself increasingly in the concrete wilds of the world: Atlanta, Denver, New York and San Francisco. Chasing a career, I was drawn to that city energy and magnitude.
But my heart always ached for the mountains and the rivers. Deep within the daily grind, I pined for any opportunity to get behind the wheel of my truck, loaded with bikes, skis and fishing gear, looking to get off the highway to that place beyond the reaches of anyone else: the last exit.
Last Exit Goods was born out of the appreciation for simplicity, keeping mind of our long-term impact by making things that last. We make these goods for those, like us, who were born with a mountain soul, no matter where they call home. Everything is centered around straightforward design and thoughtful functionality, with the caveat that it be good looking and durable as all get-out.
We are proud to be an American business centered around building everything right here in the USA. It's a challenging process and journey to pull this off, but we're committed to it for the long haul. Mostly because we believe it's the right thing to do.
